Patience is not a virtue for most of us. Even more-so in Clash of Clans we are tempted to rush our Town Halls so that we can get stronger and we can show our friends that we are a better person compared to them because our Clash of Clans account is much stronger. (My Base is bigger than Yours!)
But don't get ahead of yourself! Before you upgrade your town hall 9 base with gold walls, lvl 4 troops, lvl 4 defenses, and lvl 1 Barb King you should consider the following:
1. FARMING IS HARDER!
Players are penalized for attacking lower TH level.
Instead of getting all the loot, if you are a rushed town hall your loot available is decreased significantly if you attack lower level town halls. It will be harder for you to max your defenses and those pesky walls in higher town halls.
"Nexting" is more expensive.
You think farming is the hard part? Nooo!! Keeping your loot from attackers with your premature defenses, black and golden walls is your primary concern.

2. YOUR CLAN IS AT A BIG DISADVANTAGE IN CLAN WARS
Town Hall level is one of the main factors in determining Match Making. Although there are several factors also affecting the match making like:
Offensive Strength: troops, army camps capacity, spells and heroes
Defensive Strength: defense buildings, walls, traps and heroes.
More often than not your clan will be match against a clan with the same or almost the same number of Town Hall levels. So this tells us that the Town Hall level is one of, if not the most important factor that affects match making in clan wars.
With under-leveled troops vs strong defenses your war log might look just like this before we made the necessary adjustments:

NO WIN NO = NO LOOTS!
Losing a lot in clan wars also demoralizes your whole clan that might cause members to leave.
3. YOU DON'T LOOK COOL!
Probably the most important reason on why you don't want to rush your town hall is because your base will look cool and if you have those sexy walls, max defenses ,high level troops, and Heroes. Nobody likes a premature...

is the ability to enter the mind of animals and see through their eyes and even
control them. Like what we see with with Bran who wargs into his dire-wolf Summer and
also into Hodor. In the book it strongly implies that this is likely to happen.

THEORY 2: HE IS AZOR AHAI.

Azor Ahai is the prophesied hero that wields the flaming sword Lightbringer and the one who ends the long night and defeat The Others.
Melisandre has always believed that Stannis was the
prophesied savior but she maybe mistaken. She has said in several occasions
that she makes mistakes in interpreting her own visions.

R’hllor is the nemesis of The Other the same team the Bad Ass zombie-making Night King is apart of. She might realize the Snow may also mean Snow as the Bastard Jon.

looking at Jon Snow. Jon Snow has a special place in the Night King's heart and
after their intense stare down it is hard to believe that the producers would
go to that much trouble building up the rivalry between Jon and the the Night
King without preparing an epic battle
between them in the future.
