| Is Jon Snow the Legendary Hero Azor Ahai? |
GoT Season 5 ended with a lot of unexpected deaths but
nothing more shocking than the death of your beloved hero Jon Snow.
The traitorous actions of some members of the Night Watch
to Jon Snow especially that prick kid Olly [I !@#$%!@# that kid!] was actually prophesied by The Red Woman.
“It is not the
foes who curse you to your face that you must fear, but those who smile when
you are looking and sharpen their knives when you turn your back. You would do
well to keep your wolf close beside you. Ice, I see, and daggers in the dark.
Blood frozen red and hard, and naked steel. It was very cold”
-Melisandre to
Jon Snow
Now here are
some die hard GoT fan theories and evidences that is hinting Jon Snow is still alive.
PROBABLE ANSWER:
NOT DEAD YET, HE IS STILL ALIVE!
Maybe a premonition of things to come from the Red Woman herself. This statement also supports the next theory.
R’hllor is the nemesis of The Other the same team the Bad Ass zombie-making Night King is apart of. She might realize the Snow may also mean Snow as the Bastard Jon.
Lightbringer could probably be Jon Snow’s Valyrian Steel Sword Long Claw. You have already seen it killed a White Walker!
THEORY 1: JON SNOW WARGS INTO HIS DIREWOLF
GHOST

This
is the most popular fan theory. Warging
is the ability to enter the mind of animals and see through their eyes and even
control them. Like what we see with with Bran who wargs into his dire-wolf Summer and
also into Hodor. In the book it strongly implies that this is likely to happen.
Evidence/s that
supports this Theory:
- Just right before Jon Snow faints the last words that came out from his mouth was “Ghost”.
- “The gift was strong in Snow, but the youth was untaught, still fighting his nature when he should have gloried in it”.—Varamyr ADWD Prologue
- “Jon Snow . His Long face floated before her limned in tongues of red and orange …Now he was a man, now a wolf, now a man again.” - Melisandre ADWD
Maybe a premonition of things to come from the Red Woman herself. This statement also supports the next theory.
Check Kit Harrington's hilarious answer at the 22:03 minute mark maybe a hint of things to come for next season.
THEORY 2: HE IS AZOR AHAI.

| Azor Ahai or Beric Dondarion? via Buzfeed.com |
He will be resurrected by Melisandre and comeback as Azor Ahai.
Azor Ahai is the prophesied hero that wields the flaming sword Lightbringer and the one who ends the long night and defeat The Others.
Melisandre has always believed that Stannis was the
prophesied savior but she maybe mistaken. She has said in several occasions
that she makes mistakes in interpreting her own visions.
Evidence/s that
supports this Theory:
- “I pray for a glimpse of Azor Ahai and R'hllor shows me only Snow.”-Melisandre
R’hllor is the nemesis of The Other the same team the Bad Ass zombie-making Night King is apart of. She might realize the Snow may also mean Snow as the Bastard Jon.
- “A warrior shall draw from the fire burning sword. And that sword shall be Lightbringer, the Red sword of Heroes, and he who clasps it shall be Azor Ahai come again, and the Darkness shall free before him." -Melisandre
Lightbringer could probably be Jon Snow’s Valyrian Steel Sword Long Claw. You have already seen it killed a White Walker!
UNFINISHED BUSINESS

"COME AT ME BRO!"
In E8 S5 you can see the leader of the Undead intently
looking at Jon Snow. Jon Snow has a special place in the Night King's heart and
after their intense stare down it is hard to believe that the producers would
go to that much trouble building up the rivalry between Jon and the the Night
King without preparing an epic battle
between them in the future.

There is still hope! Kit Harrington is still rocking his medieval hair! Maybe he is still playing his role in the next season/s.
ANSWER 2: YES HE IS DEAD! [Cries in the Corner]

In an interview with Entertainment weekly Kit Harrington said:
"This is my understanding of it. I had a sit-down with Dan and David, we did the Tony Soprano walk [letting an actor know they’re being whacked]. And they said, “Look, you’re gone, it’s done.”
The show have gone off script from the book several times already so it is also a possibility that Jon Snow is truly dead.
Let us just hope he and the producers are just messing with us.
